Product
Central Component of the ERP, the object Product trade makes it possible to store the whole of information relating to the products.
An Product represents an element used by the company or sold by this one; it can be manufactured or bought, material or immaterial, virtual or alternative. The products can be classified in various categories, themselves organized by catalog. That makes it possible to find an product very quickly and to carry out certain treatments only on one subset of product.
Information making it possible to describe or manage an product is :
- descriptive: in the form of field (made out, size, weight,…), of generated key word or file;
- associated (plan, image, commercial documentation,…) ;
- referred to find or manage the product with multiple references;
- financial: management of the whole of the prices and costs, and bond with accountancy;
- commercial conditions;
- options and alternatives in the case of range of articles: specify the options available or details the precise characteristics in predetermined lists;
- parameter setting: default value used by the various treatments, level re-order, supplier,…;
- classification: an article belongs to N categories; * relations typified between products: compatibility, replaces, complementary, produced associated alternatives.
Management of the contents associated with the product
OFBiz-Néogia manages in a standard way the contents associated with the product into multilingual.
Association of products
Association in product complementary to those already selected: compatible products between them, products belonging to the same promotional offer, products also bought with the ERP.
Management of the price
Neogia manages a whole of price per product, at the same time of the purchase or selling prices but also the cost prices according to the manufacturing costs. The management of the rules of price is also facilitated: for example, for the products in catalog, it can take into account the whole of the elements impacting the definition of a selling price.
Management of indices by product
This function makes it possible to manage the date of beginning of availability of each index (revision). This index is followed to the level of the work orders and the sale and buying orders.
Management of the tools and the consommables
The Neogia solution proposes two methods of management of the tools and the consumable ones:
- the first method is to manage them as resources of manufacture,
- the second method consists in not managing the consumable ones in the nomenclature and to manage of it only the purchases and stock.
Management of promotions and the handing-over
Promotions and the handing-over are managed in Neogia using rules of management defined in a generic way and independently of the catalog. A rule of promotion can apply to a category or a product and to have one (or) action (S) to a product or a category of products.
