OFBiz or Neogia Accounting component
The Accounting Neogia component replaces some of the OFBiz-Accounting Sub-component.
Payment management continues to be managed with the OFBiz tools. Currently OFBiz Accounting entities aren't removed when Neogia is installed, so some Neogia entities are prefixed by "n" to avoid name conflict. When Neogia will include all the Accounting OFBiz functionalities (without payment), these prefixes will disappear. Neogia-Accounting is for General Ledger and Financial Controlling Management operation. It's composed by two sub-components:
- Chart Of Account definition and organization, period definition and management (status). In Neogia, GL Account and Controlling Account are the same object, AccountType makes the difference between them. (more detail with UML diagram ChartOfAccount /src/zuml/ChartOfAccount.jpg)
- Accouting transaction management, GlEntries by transaction. (more detail with UML diagram AccountingTransaction /src/zuml/AccountingTransaction.jpg)
- ERP event integration in Accounting
To realize the UML modelization we have used our ERP customer implementation experience.
